A multi-story building in the shape of an elephant, lived in by humans? Can it be? The tremendous answer is that yes, there have been hundreds of them throughout the world, of all shapes and sizes and dating from earliest times to the present day. The purpose of Inspired by Elephants would be to bring this astonishing herd of architectural pachyderms to public notice and acclaim; whilst telling the wildly diverse tales of why, when and where each one was built.
